Terms of Service

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and the competent court shall be the court having jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act. In case of any discrepancy between translated versions, the Korean version shall prevail.

Chapter 1. General Provisions

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as "Terms") are intended to stipulate the rights, obligations, responsibilities, and other necessary matters between Sigmoid (hereinafter referred to as "Company") and its members regarding the use of Software-as-a-Service (hereinafter referred to as "Service") provided by the Company.

Article 2 (Definition of Terms)

The definitions of terms used in these Terms are as follows:

1. "Service" refers to Sigmoid and all related services that "Members" can use regardless of the implementing device (including various wired and wireless devices such as PCs and mobile devices).

2. "Member" refers to a customer who accesses the Company's "Service," enters into a service agreement with the Company pursuant to these Terms, and uses the "Service" provided by the Company.

3. "Paid Service" refers to various digital content and services provided by the "Company" for a fee.

4. "Payment" refers to the act of a "Member" paying a certain amount to the "Company" or a payment processor designated by the "Company" through various payment methods to use the "Paid Service."

Article 3 (Effect and Modification of Terms)

1. These Terms shall be effective for all "Members" who wish to use the "Service."

2. The contents of these Terms shall become effective when posted on the "Service" screen or notified to "Members" by other means, and when "Members" who agree to these Terms subscribe to the "Service."

3. The "Company" may modify these Terms to the extent that it does not violate applicable laws if necessary. Modified Terms shall be announced within the "Service" along with the current Terms from 7 days prior to the effective date, specifying the effective date and reasons for the modification. However, in case of modifications unfavorable to "Members," the announcement shall be made 30 days in advance.

Article 4 (Interpretation of Terms)

1. Matters not specified in these Terms and interpretation of these Terms shall be governed by applicable laws or commercial practices.

2. The "Company" may have separate terms of service and policies (hereinafter referred to as "Individual Terms") for individual "Services," and if such content conflicts with these Terms, the Individual Terms shall take precedence.

Chapter 2. Service Use

Article 5 (Service Contents)

The "Company" provides the following services to "Members":

1. Sigmoid digital services and related content

2. All other services provided to "Members" through additional development by the "Company" or partnership agreements with other companies

The "Company" shall announce any changes to the service content, usage methods, or usage hours, including the reason for the change, details of the change, and the date of provision, on the service screen at least 7 days prior to the change.

Article 6 (Transmission of Advertising Information)

The "Company" may transmit commercial advertising information through electronic transmission media (email, text messages, app push notifications, etc.) if the "Member" has consented to receive marketing information. "Members" may refuse to receive such information at any time.

Article 7 (Copyright and Management of Posts)

1. The copyright of posts published by "Members" within the "Service" belongs to the author of such posts.

2. "Members" grant the "Company" the right to use posts they have published for the purposes of operating, promoting, and improving the "Service."

3. The "Company" may delete posts within the "Service" that "Members" post or register without prior notice if deemed to fall under any of the following:
  a. Content that defames or damages the reputation of other "Members" or third parties
  b. Content that violates public order and morals
  c. Content deemed to be associated with criminal activity
  d. Content that infringes upon the Company's copyrights, third-party copyrights, or other rights
  e. Content that otherwise violates applicable laws

Chapter 3. Obligations of the Parties

Article 8 (Obligations of the Company)

1. The "Company" shall not engage in acts prohibited by applicable laws and these Terms or contrary to public morals, and shall make every effort to provide the "Service" continuously and stably.

2. The "Company" shall establish a security system to protect personal information so that "Members" can safely use the "Service," and shall publicly disclose and comply with its Privacy Policy.

3. The "Company" shall address opinions or complaints raised by "Members" in connection with the use of the "Service" if deemed legitimate.

Chapter 4. Fees and Refunds

Article 9 (Refunds)

In case of grounds for refund arising during the use of "Paid Service," the "Company" shall process refunds according to the following:

1. (Member's Change of Mind) In case of a refund request due to a "Member's" simple change of mind, the "Company" shall refund the amount after deducting the fees corresponding to the usage period. (Refund amount = Payment amount - Calculated usage fee for the usage period)

2. (Company's Fault) In case the Service is not properly provided due to reasons attributable to the "Company," the "Company" shall refund the full usage fee for the applicable month.

3. In principle, the "Member" shall bear all incidental costs, such as payment processing fees, incurred in case of refunds due to simple change of mind.

Chapter 5. Contract Termination and Usage Restrictions

Article 10 (Contract Termination)

1. "Members" may apply for termination of the service agreement at any time through the settings menu within the Service, and the "Company" shall process this immediately in accordance with applicable laws.

2. In case a "Member" terminates the contract, all data of the "Member" may be deleted immediately upon termination, except where the "Company" retains member information pursuant to applicable laws and the Privacy Policy.

Article 11 (Usage Restrictions)

The "Company" may restrict the use of the Service or terminate the service agreement without prior notice if a "Member" falls under any of the following:

1. Violation of these Terms

2. Registration using another person's identity

3. Intentional interference with the operation of the "Service"

4. Acts contrary to public order and morals

5. Acts in violation of applicable laws

6. Other cases where the "Company" reasonably determines that it is necessary to refuse to provide the "Service"

Chapter 6. Miscellaneous

Article 12 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

1. These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.

2. Any lawsuit regarding disputes arising between the "Company" and "Members" shall be filed with the court having jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act.

Supplementary Provisions

These Terms shall be effective from February 1, 2026.
